Monstera Adansonii "Swiss Cheese"

Monstera Adansonii prefer bright indirect light (near a window or grow light). Avoid direct sunlight, the leaves are prone to sunburn. They are tolerant of lower light conditions but will be slow to grow and fenestration (holes in leaves) may dissipate.
Water every 2- 2 ½ weeks, or only when the pot feels light and soil is mostly dry. Do not water when the soil is still moist as this plant does not like to stay soggy. When your adansonii is on the thirsty side, its leaves will look slightly wilted. When watering from the top, water until it flows quickly through the holes in the bottom of the plastic pot. If watering with a saucer, discard any water that accumulates. Make sure not to water too often - this is a cause of root rot and can kill your plant!
Humidity isn’t required, but as tropical plants, they love it! Consider putting them in a well lit bathroom or kitchen. (Leaf tips that are browning might indicate your plant wants some humidity, a spa day in your bathroom might be in order!)
As tropical plants, they prefer temperatures between 60-80 degrees, but not below 55 or rapid fluctuations in temperature. They prefer not to be exposed to drafts, so try to keep it away from vents (particularly during winter)!
Fertilize monthly during the growing season (Spring and Summer) with a well balanced fertilizer. Our favorite is Liqui-Dirt (not sponsored!) which you can use each time you water.
Keep out of reach of pets (and kids!) as these plants are moderately toxic if ingested.
