Variegated English Ivy

Ivy prefers bright indirect light (near a window or grow light). Avoid direct sunlight, the leaves are prone to sunburn.
Water every 1 ½ - 2 weeks, or when the plant feels light and the soil is partially dry. English ivy doesn’t like having constantly wet roots, so make sure the plant dries out partially before watering again. Crispy brown leaves are a sign of overwatering for ivy. When watering from the top, water until it flows quickly through the holes in the bottom of the plastic pot. If watering with a saucer, discard any water that accumulates. Make sure not to water too often - this is a cause of root rot and can kill your plant!
Ivy traditionally prefer humidity, but also tend to be fine in a typical household environment. An occasional spa day in your bathroom would be appreciated, but not required.
English ivy are grown in temperatures between 45-80 degrees Fahrenheit, but prefer if the change is gradual.
Fertilize regularly during the growing season (Spring and Summer) with a well balanced fertilizer diluted to 50%. Our favorite is Liqui-Dirt (not sponsored!) which you can use each time you water.
Try to keep out of reach of pets (and kids!) as these plants are mildly toxic if ingested.
